A Collaborative Showcase with THIOT Ingénierie

From June 10 to 13, 2024, Dynas+ Engineering Products had the privilege of participating as a sponsor and exhibitor at the 17th edition of the LWAG Conference (Light-Weight Armour for Defence & Security) in the picturesque town of Rocamadour, France. Organized by our technical partner and customer, THIOT Ingénierie, this event was a hub of innovation, bringing together leading professionals in defense and security to address the challenges of lightweight armor systems.

About LWAG

Since its inception in 2001, the LWAG workshop has been a vital platform for engineers, researchers, and PhD students to collaborate on cutting-edge solutions in lightweight armor. It focuses on improving the design and performance of armor systems exposed to ballistic and explosive threats, incorporating a wide range of materials like:

  • Ceramics
  • Metals and composites
  • Ceramic matrix composites (CMC)
  • Metal matrix composites (MMC)
  • Metallic foams and other porous materials

The workshop fosters a rich exchange of experimental, theoretical, and simulation-based knowledge, promoting advancements in protection technologies for soldiers, vehicles, aircraft, and naval platforms.
